WIFE IN WATER COLOURS. A mistress, or concubine; water colours being, like their engagements, easily effaced or dissolved.
--From Grose's classical dictionary of the vulgar tongue--
The lyrics in this 2009 song go: "...I'm a wife in water colors..." and now I know what the song is about!

Where have you gone, Shirley Manson? Save us from Sasquatch Singer Girl.
I thought she just got paroled. Or was that Squeeky. I always get them mixed up.
Hahahha, how 'bout that total body Gamble?
Hahahahaha.
I will admit to being disturbed by St. Vincent's singing style. There was another clip with better sound, but I didn't use it because you could see her singing and it was just plain weird.
Love her music though, I own all her albums.
