When the girls were little, they were fascinated by bubbles. Today, when we do our once-a-month caring for the toddlers at church, they crowd around when they see the bottle of bubbles come out. It's universal!
(And not restricted to adults. Once, on a sunny Autumn morning in downtown Eureka Springs, AR, I saw bubbles tripping down a staircase. A proprietor had set up a bubble blowing machine just for the heck of it, I guess. Made the morning even more joyful.)
